Press announcement. On 27 June in Warsaw the opening of the exhibition “For our freedom and yours” will take place

On 27 June 2022 at 10 AM in Warsaw (Poland), the opening of the exhibition “For our freedom and yours” will take place.

It will be the first exhibition outside of Ukraine displaying Russian military equipment destroyed or captured by Ukraine’s defence forces during the rebuff of Russian military aggression.

The exhibition will feature:

• the main combat tank of the Russian army: T-72B (destroyed by Ukraine’s defence forces on 31 March 2022 in battle near Dmytrivka village, Bucha District (suburbs of Kyiv);

• 152-mm self-propelled artillery unit “Msta-S” (damaged by Ukrainian artillery in the Sumy region; Polish AHS “Crab” inter alia take part in artillery duels with these units);

• samples of projectiles from multiple launch rocket systems “Uragan” and “Smerch” (destructive and indiscriminative weapons used by the Russian army to attack peaceful Ukrainian cities and civilian objects, i.e. for committing war crimes).

The exhibition will open in the historical center of the Polish Capital, on Castle Square.

Organizers of the exhibition: the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine and the Chancellery of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Poland.

Deputy Minister of Defence of Ukraine Hanna Maliar, Head of the Chancellery of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Poland, Minister Michał Dworczyk, Secretary of State of the Ministry of National Defence of the Republic of Poland Wojciech Skurkiewicz and Chargé d’Affaires of Ukraine in Poland Oleh Kuts will attend the opening ceremony.
