The situation in the Joint Forces Operation area remains under control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Over the course of the last 24 hours, February 15, 4 incidents of ceasefire violation by the Russian occupation forces were observed, including 2 incidents when the Russian occupation forces utilized weapons prohibited by the Minsk Agreements.
The Russian occupation forces opened fire in the direction of KATERYNIVKA using antitank missile systems.
The armed formations of the Russian Federation shelled the outskirts of LOBACHEVE man-portable antitank grenade launchers.
In the vicinity of ORIKHOVE the armed formations of the Russian Federation shelled the positions of the Ukrainian defenders using 120 mm mortars and automatic antitank grenade launchers.
On the outskirts of STANYTSIA LUHANSKA the Russian occupation forces opened fire using 82 mm mortars.
The Joint Forces suffered no casualties as a result of the enemy fire.
As of 11 o'clock this morning, February 16, 2 incidents of ceasefire violation by the Russian occupation forces were observed, including 1 incident when the Russian occupation forces utilized weapons prohibited by the Minsk Agreements.
The Russian occupation forces shelled the outskirts of STANYTSIA LUHANSKA using 82 mm mortars.
In the vicinity of LOBACHEVE the Russian occupation forces utilized a combat UAV to drop VOG-17 grenade launcher round.
The Joint Forces suffered no casualties as a result of the enemy fire.
Due to the commitment of the Ukrainian service members, the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces remain unchanged.
The crime-related situation in the Joint Forces Operation area is considered relatively stable.
Over the course of the last 24 hours the police units, engaged in the Joint Forces Operation, inspected 4004 vehicles and 4210 individuals, including 3 individuals inspected for affiliation with the Russian Federation armed formations. Moreover, the police units were able to identify 47 cases of misdemeanor and investigate 30 offenses.
1033 individuals passed through the entry-exit checkpoints going to the occupied territory and 1107 individuals passed to return to the territory controlled by the Ukrainian government.
In order to implement the security measures aimed at protecting the civilian population, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine pyrotechnic units of the Joint Forces demined almost 4 hectares of land and transferred for disposal 552 items of explosive ordnance.
The Joint Forces units continue to carry out assigned missions of defeating and deterring the armed aggression of the Russian Federation.
