The situation in the Joint Forces Operation area remains under control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Over the course of the last 24 hours, February 14, 5 incidents of ceasefire violation by the Russian occupation forces were observed.
In the vicinity of TROKHIZBENKA Russian occupation forces opened fire using man-portable antitank grenade launchers.
The armed formations of the Russian Federation also shelled the outskirts of NOVOTROITSKE using automatic antitank grenade launchers.
On the outskirts of PISKY the adversary shelled the positions of the Ukrainian defenders using man-portable antitank grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms.
In the vicinity of MARIINKA Russian occupation forces utilized a UAV to drop VOG-17 grenade launcher round.
Ukrainian defenders opened fire in response, while refraining from the use of weapon systems prohibited by the Minsk agreements, and destroyed 1 enemy UAV.
Moreover, over the last 24 hours there was 1 incident of the adversary UAV’s, most likely Orlan-10, crossing the line of contact and flying over the areas of Donetsk controlled by the Ukrainian government.
The Joint Forces suffered 2 casualties, as a result of enemy fire. 2 service members were WIA and are currently undergoing treatment in a medical facility. One of them is in a stable condition, the other – in a critical, but stable.
Due to the commitment of the Ukrainian service members, the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces remain unchanged.
As of 11 o'clock this morning, February 15, 2 incidents of ceasefire violation by the Russian occupation forces were observed.
The adversary opened fire in the direction of KATERYNIVKA using an antitank missile system.
Russian occupation forces also shelled the outskirts of LOBACHEVE using man-portable antitank grenade launchers.
The crime-related situation in the Joint Forces Operation area is considered relatively stable.
Over the course of the last 24 hours the police units, engaged in the Joint Forces Operation, inspected 4273 vehicles and 3925 individuals, including 1 individual inspected for affiliation with the Russian Federation armed formations. Moreover, the police units were able to identify 28 cases of misdemeanor and investigate 23 offenses.
921 individuals passed through the entry-exit checkpoints going to the occupied territory and 1030 individuals passed to return to the territory controlled by the Ukrainian government.
In order to implement the security measures aimed at protecting the civilian population, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine pyrotechnic units of the Joint Forces demined almost 1,5 hectares of land and transferred for disposal 2 items of explosive ordnance.
The Joint Forces units continue to carry out assigned missions of defeating and deterring the armed aggression of the Russian Federation.
