The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation continue to ignore the agreements reached within the frameworks of the Trilateral Contact Group.
During the past day, the Ukrainian Defence Forces recorded 5 ceasefire violations committed by the Russian occupation forces.
Near TRIOKHIZBENKA, the Russian occupation forces opened fire using hand-held anti-tank grenade launchers.
In the direction of NOVOTROITSKY, the occupants opened fired from automatic grenade launchers.
In the vicinity of PISKI, the enemy fired at the positions of Ukrainian defenders using grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms.
Near MARIINKA, the enemy used UAV to drop VOG-17 grenades.
The Ukrainian Forces had to fire in response to suppress the enemy’s activity, strictly adhering to the Minsk agreements and destroyed an enemy UAV.
In addition, in Donetsk region, the enemy “Orlan-10” type UAV was spotted crossing the frontline.
Two Ukrainian soldiers were WIA due to enemy shelling of Ukrainian positions. The soldiers are in a medical facility. The state of health of one serviceman is moderate, and the other one is in satisfactory condition.
Positions of the Ukrainian Defence Forces remain intact.
As of 07.00, there were no ceasefire violations committed by the Russian occupation forces.
The Joint Forces retain full control over the situation in their operation area and continue accomplishing their combat missions of defeating and deterring the Russian armed aggression.
