Over the course of the last 24 hours, February 2, 4 incidents of ceasefire violation by the Russian occupation forces were observed, including 1 incident when the Russian occupation forces utilized weapons prohibited by the Minsk Agreements.
Russian occupation forces shelled the checkpoint Hnutove in Donetsk region.
In order to shell the humanitarian corridor that goes through the checkpoint, the adversary utilized a combat UAV to drop VOG-17 grenade launcher rounds.
Moreover, the armed formations of the Russian Federation opened fire in the direction of TALAKIVKA using man-portable antitank and automatic grenade launchers.
In the vicinity of PISKY Russian occupation forces shelled the positions of the Ukrainian defenders using man-portable antitank grenade launchers.
The Russian occupational forces also opened fire in the vicinity of VODIANE, Donetsk region, using 82mm mortars and automatic antitank grenade launchers.
The Joint Forces suffered no casualties as a result of the enemy fire.
Ukrainian defenders opened fire in response, while refraining from the use of weapon systems prohibited by the Minsk agreements, and forced the adversary to cease the shelling.
Due to the commitment of the Ukrainian service members, the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces remain unchanged.
As of 11 o’clock this morning, February 3, there were no incidents of ceasefire violation by the Russian occupation forces.
Over the course of the last 24 hours the police units, engaged in the Joint Forces Operation, inspected 4047 vehicles and 3944 individuals, including 4 individuals inspected for affiliation with the Russian Federation armed formations. Moreover, the police units were able to identify 43 cases of misdemeanor and investigate 40 offenses.
902 individuals passed through the entry-exit checkpoints going to the occupied territory and 876 individuals passed to return to the territory controlled by the Ukrainian government.
In order to implement the security measures aimed at protecting the civilian population, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine pyrotechnic units of the Joint Forces demined almost 4,5 hectares of land and transferred for disposal 111 items of explosive ordnance.
The Joint Forces units continue to carry out assigned missions of defeating and deterring the armed aggression of the Russian Federation.
