Over the course of the last 24 hours, January 25, 5 incidents of ceasefire violation by the Russian occupation forces were observed.

The armed formations of the Russian Federation opened fire towards the settlement of AVDIIVKA using automatic and antitank grenade launchers.

In the vicinity of MARIINKA the adversary shelled the positions of the Ukrainian defenders using man-portable antitank grenade launchers and small arms.

The adversary also used large-caliber machine guns and small arms to carry out fire engagements near the settlement of SHYROKYNE.

On the outskirts of the settlement of PYSHCHEVYK Russian mercenaries utilized a combat UAV to drop VOG-17 grenade launcher rounds.

The Joint Forces suffered two casualties as a result of the enemy fire. Two service members were WIA and are currently undergoing treatment in medical facilities. One of the service members is in a stable condition, the other one is more serious.

Ukrainian defenders opened fire in response, while refraining from the use of weapon systems prohibited by the Minsk agreements, and forced the adversary to cease the shelling.

Due to the commitment of the Ukrainian service members, the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces remain unchanged.

As of 11 o'clock this morning, January 26, there were no incidents of ceasefire violation by the Russian occupation forces.

Over the course of the last 24 hours the police units, engaged in the Joint Forces Operation, inspected 3587 vehicles and 3627 individuals, including 1 individual inspected for affiliation with the Russian Federation armed formations. Moreover, the police units were able to identify 39 cases of misdemeanor and investigate 36 offenses.

1168 individuals passed through the entry-exit checkpoints going to the occupied territory and 1195 individuals passed to return to the territory controlled by the Ukrainian government.

In order to implement the security measures aimed at protecting the civilian population, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine pyrotechnic units of the Joint Forces demined almost 1,5 hectares of land and transferred for disposal 82 items of explosive ordnance.

The Joint Forces units continue to carry out assigned missions of defeating and deterring the armed aggression of the Russian Federation.
