JFO News. Security situation UPD for 7 AM

Over the course of June 27, the Russian occupation troops have violated the ceasefire for 12 times.

The enemy used 122mm artillery systems, 120mm and 82mm mortars which should be withdrawn from the frontline in accordance with the Minsk agreements. The Russian occupation troops also used different grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms. Units deployed to the JFO opened adequate fire in response to the armed provocations of the Russian occupation troops.

8 ceasefire violations were recorded in the area of responsibility of the task force East (Donetsk direction). The enemy shelled positions of the Joint Forces not far from Avdiivka settlement with 122mm artillery systems, 120mm mortars and different infantry armament, as well as used 82mm mortars and antitank missiles near Hranitne settlement. The Russian occupation troops also shelled Ukrainian positions near Verkhniotoretske, Vodiane, Shyrokyne and Mariinka settlements using different grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms.

4 ceasefire violations were recorded in the area of responsibility of the task force NORTH (Luhansk direction).The enemy shelled positions of the Joint Forces not far from Krymske settlement with 120mm mortars, as well as used different grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms near Svitlodarsk, Orihove and Novotoshkivske settlements.  

Joint Forces opened adequate fire in response to the armed provocations of the Russian occupation troops. Any other armed provocations of the enemy will be met with harsh response.

As the result of the shelling, 1 Ukrainian warrior was KIA and 3 were WIA.

From the beginning of the day, 1 ceasefire violation was recorded. The enemy shelled positions of the Joint Forces not far from Myronivske settlement with 82mm mortars.

No casualties were recorded.

Joint Forces opened adequate fire in response.

Situation in the JFO area is under full control of the Joint Forces.
