JFO News. Security situation UPD for 7 AM

Over the course of June 26, the Russian occupation troops have violated the ceasefire for 9 times.

The enemy used 122mm artillery systems, 120mm and 82mm mortars which should be withdrawn from the frontline in accordance with the Minsk agreements. The Russian occupation troops also used different grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms. Units deployed to the JFO opened adequate fire in response to the armed provocations of the Russian occupation troops.

1 ceasefire violation was recorded in the area of responsibility of the task force East (Donetsk direction). The Russian occupation troops shelled Ukrainian positions near Slavne settlement using 82mm mortars and rocket propelled grenade launchers.

8 ceasefire violations were recorded in the area of responsibility of the task force NORTH (Luhansk direction).For three times, the enemy shelled positions of the Joint Forces not far from Krymske settlement with 122mm artillery systems, 120mm mortars and different infantry armament, as well as used 82mm mortars near Katerynivka, Novooleksandrivka and Novozvanivka settlements.  The Russian occupation troops also fired different grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms near Hutir Vilnyi and Shumy settlements.

Joint Forces opened adequate fire in response to the armed provocations of the Russian occupation troops. Any other armed provocations of the enemy will be met with harsh response. According to the updated intelligence data, 1 Russian mercenary was destroyed and 2 were injured.

One Ukrainian warrior was WIA.

From the beginning of the day, 2 ceasefire violations were recorded. The enemy shelled positions of the Joint Forces not far from Avdiivka settlement with 122mm artillery systems, 120mm mortars and different infantry armament, as well as used automatic grenade launchers not far from Vodiane settlement.

No casualties were recorded.

Joint Forces opened adequate fire in response.

Situation in the JFO area is under full control of the Joint Forces.
