JFO News. Security situation UPD for 7 AM

Over the course of June 20, the Russian occupation troops have violated the ceasefire for 28 times.

The enemy used 152mm and 122mm artillery systems, 120mm and 82mm mortars which should be withdrawn from the frontline in accordance with the Minsk agreements. Moreover, the Russian occupation troops used IFV armament, different grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms. Units deployed to the JFO opened adequate fire in response to the armed provocations of the Russian occupation troops.

6 ceasefire violations were recorded in the area of responsibility of the task force East (Donetsk direction). The enemy used 82mm mortars, as well as a wide range of armament including different grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms to shell positions of Ukrainian forces near Avdiivka, Pavlopil and Shyrokyne settlements.

22 ceasefire violations were recorded in the area of responsibility of the task force NORTH (Luhansk direction). The enemy fired 152mm and 122mm artillery systems, 120mm and 82 mm mortars, different grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms against our positions near Hutir Vilnyi, Novooleksandrivka, Shumy, Troitske, Zolote-4, Orihove, Popasna, Novozvanivka, Luhanske, Novotoshkivske, Krymske and Zalizne settlements.

Joint Forces opened adequate fire in response to the armed provocations of the Russian occupation troops. Any other armed provocations of the enemy will be met with harsh response. According to the intelligence data, 1 Russian mercenary was injured.

As a result of enemy’s shelling, 3 Ukrainian warriors were WIA.

From the beginning of the day, 4 ceasefire violations were recorded in the Luhansk direction. The Russian occupation troops shelled Ukrainian positions near Shymy, Zalizne and Krymske, using 120mm and 82mm mortars. The enemy also used antitank grenade launchers near Krymske settlement.

One Ukrainian warrior was WIA.

Joint Forces opened adequate fire in response.

Situation in the JFO area is under full control of the Joint Forces.
