On April 3, the Russian occupation troops have violated the ceasefire for 16 times.
The enemy shelled the JFO positions with 122 mm artillery systems, as well as 120mm and 82mm mortars which are forbidden by the Minsk agreements. The Russian occupation troops also used different grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms. Units deployed to the JFO opened adequate fire in response for the provocations of the Russian occupation troops.
10 ceasefire violations were recorded in the area of responsibility of the task force East (Donetsk direction). The Russian occupation for two times shelled Ukrainian positions near Pavlopil settlement with 82mm mortars by firing 43 mines, as well as grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms. The enemy also fired against the JFO positions not far from Avdiivka (2 times) with 82mm mortars (8 mines) and small arms. Moreover, the enemy fired against the JFO positions near Krasnohorivka (2 times), Kamianka, Novotroitske and Opytne (2 times) settlements with wide range of infantry armament including different grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms
6 ceasefire violations were recorded in the area of responsibility of the task force NORTH (Luhansk direction). The Russian occupation for three times shelled Ukrainian positions near Novotoshkivske settlement with 122mm artillery systems and 120mm mortars by firing 20 artillery shells and 26 mines. The enemy also fired against the JFO positions not far from Orihove settlement with 120 mm (6 mines), 82 mm mortars (5 mines) and grenade launchers, as well as shelled the JFO positions near Novozvanivka settlement with 82 mm mortars(10 mines). Our positions near Luhanske settlement were also shelled with 120mm mortars, grenade launchers and heavy machine guns.
Joint Forces opened adequate fire in response to the armed provocations of the Russian occupation troops. Any other armed provocations of the enemy will be met with harsh response.
According to the intelligence data, 3 Russian mercenaries were KIA.
No casualties among personnel of the JFO were recorded.
From the beginning of the day, no ceasefire violation was recorded.
No COVID — 19 infection case among personnel of the Joint Forces units was recorded.
