Russian occupation troops use Russian-made mines which are forbidden by the Geneva Conventions

On March 31, according to the JFO press centre, 1 serviceman was WIA during combat deployment, as the result of antipersonnel mine explosion not far from Katerynivka settlement in Luhansk region.

Serviceman was provided with necessary medical support and evacuated to the medical facility. He is in a hard condition.

According to the preliminary data, the mine is Russian — made and belongs to ammunition which is forbidden by the Geneva Conventions.

The use of such mines shows one more time that the Russian occupation troops openly disregard demands of the International humanitarian law during combat actions.
