US and British advisers will conduct a seminar on information operations for Ukrainian service personnel

The event will take place throughout the week from 28 October to 1 November and is aimed at enhancing the capabilities of the command and control units of the Armed Forces and the acquisition of practical skills by Ukrainian specialists as well as the implementation of NATO communications and information technology experiences and approaches.

During the seminar, foreign advisers of the Strategic Communications Subcommittee of the Multinational Joint Coordination Committee on Military Cooperation and Defense Reform, in concert with Ukrainian IO officers will discuss and analyze the negative information-psychological impact which is conducted by the Russian Federation.

The seminar is intended to promote the rapid implementation of advanced foreign approaches in the practice of the troops and to increase their effectiveness in the JFO operation area. Also the main purpose of the event is the opportunity to conduct practical training of Ukrainian IO experts, combining it with the practice of evaluating the information environment, studying and analyzing the target audience and planning media events.

Representatives of other government agencies and structures active in the IO field will also be involved in the seminar.
