ATO News: Situation Update, east of Ukraine as of morning, October 18, 2017

Wednesday, October 18. DONBAS — According to the press centre of the ‘anti-terror’ operation (ATO) HQ, the enemy has violated the ceasefire for 44 times over the past 24 hours.

The enemy used grenade launchers and heavy machineguns against the Ukrainian positions near Avdiivka, Butivka mine, Novoselivka Druha, Troitske, and Maiorsk, small arms near Pisky and Kamianka, mortars near Zaitseve.

Militants launched attacks with 82 mm mortars, anti-tank grenade launchers, small arms near Marinka, 120 mm mortars near Hnutove, 82 mm mortars near Lebedynske.

The pro-Russian occupants fired 82 mm mortars and BMP armament on the ATO positions near Novooleksandrivka, small arms on ATO positions near Krymske and Popasna.

Two Ukrainian soldiers were killed and four Ukrainian soldiers were wounded.
