Tuesday, March 15. LVIV — “This trip enhanced my understanding of the changes underway in your country and the Armed Forces. This will undoubtfully augment the cooperation between our defence agencies. Your reform is a move forward, they go good and fast, and this is noticeable. Canada will continue its support to Ukraine,” Minister of National Defence of Canada Mr. Harjit Singh Sajjan said.

He stressed that Canada and Ukraine have close cultural bonds, historically sustained for a long time, and expressed his condolences to the families of Ukrainian soldiers fallen during the ATO.

“I understand how difficult it is to wage war, study and conduct reforms at the same time. The unity of the country and willing for changes are a best respond to any aggressor,” Minister of National Defence of Canada said.
