"Prince Yaroslav the Wise" Order
², ²², ²²², ²V and V grade
It was established by the Decree of the President of Ukraine ¹ 766/95 dated August 23, 1996 to decorate citizens for significant personal deeds for the sake of the Ukrainian state in the sphere of state construction, enforcement of the international authority of Ukraine, development of
economy, science, education, culture, art, for charity, humanistic and public
activities.

Of the “Prince Yaroslav the Wise” Order

The “Prince Yaroslav the Wise” Order can be awarded
to citizens of Ukraine, foreign. citizens or individuals without citizenship
-
The order is awarded on the basis of the decree of the
President of Ukraine.

The highest grade is the first grade.
-
The person awarded the “Prince Yaroslav the Wise”
Order of any grade is named a knight of the “Prince Yaroslav the Wise”
Order.
-
The slogan of the “Prince Yaroslav the Wise” Order is
“Wisdom, honor, glamour”.
-
The “Prince Yaroslav the Wise” Order is awarded to
citizens of Ukraine who have been awarded one of the state awards or
decorations of the President of Ukraine.
-
The nomination for the next grade of the Order of
“Prince Yaroslav the Wise” is possible at least in a three years’ time
after the last nomination.
-
The “Prince Yaroslav the Wise” Order can be awarded
posthumously.
-
No one is entitled to deprive the knight of the order of
his award.

“Prince Yaroslav the Wise” Order ²
grade can be awarded to the following foreign citizens or individuals
without citizenship - heads of sovereign states.

“Prince Yaroslav the Wise”
Order ²² grade can be awarded to:heads of governments and parliaments of sovereign
states,
distinguished statesmen;

“Prince Yaroslav the Wise” Order
²²² grade can be awarded to: ministers of foreign affairs, heads
of other foreign policy establishments, ambassadors of foreign countries to
Ukraine;

11. “Prince Yaroslav the Wise” Order of all grades is
presented by the President of Ukraine as a rule.
12. The awarded person is presented a set
of attributes of the decoration

² grade – order sign, 2 order
stars, shoulder ribbon with a bow, order sign miniature, award certificate.

²² grade - order sign, order star,
order sign miniature, order book.
-
²²², ²V and V grade - order
sign, order sign miniature, order book.
13. In case “Prince Yaroslav the Wise” Order attributes are
lost (spoiled) .
14. The duplicates are not issued as a rule.
15. The duplicates of the order sign, order star, order sign
miniature and order book are issued by the the President State heraldic and
awards commission if it deems it necessary for the costs of the awarded or free
of charge.
“Prince Yaroslav the Wise” Order ² grade,
the order sign is made of silver. The medal
bears a gilded bold profile of Prince Yaroslav the Wise the reverse side of the
sign is shallow with the sign number and slogan “Wisdom, honor, glamour”
engraved on it. The order chain is made of
gilded silver, it is coated with sky blue, ocean blue and
yellow enamel. The order star is made of silver with gilded and silver rays. On
the reverse side there is a pin to attach the order to clothes. The bar is made
of gilded ñð³áëà silver.
“Prince Yaroslav the Wise” Order ²²,
²²² grade
The order sign is the same as the Order ² grade. In the upper part of the cross a shaped ring is attached to the ear,
through which goes a ribbon to wear the order sign on the neck.
“Prince Yaroslav the Wise” Order ²V
grade
The order sign is the same as the Order ² grade, but the bold profile of Prince Yaroslav the Wise is silver. There’s a
bold silver image of oak branch. The bar frame is gilded. On the reverse side of
the bar there is a pin to attach the order to clothes.
“Prince Yaroslav the Wise” Order V grade
the order sign is made of silver. The reverse side of the
sign is shallow with the sign number and slogan “Wisdom, honor, glamour”
engraved on it.
