Human rights activists have held the event in support of Kremlin prisoners (Video)

Ukrainian tour in support of Ukrainian political prisoners and prisoners of war who are being held in Russia and the temporarily occupied Crimea has started in Odessa. In particular, the activists have placed 121 traps, symbolizing 97 political prisoners and 24 illegally detained sailors.

The event was arranged by the Ukrainian Helsinki Human Rights Union, the Human Rights Media Initiative, the Kremlin Prisoners’ Relatives Union, the #SaveOlegSentsov Campaign, the Crimean Human Rights Group, Crimea-SOS and more.

In addition to the traps, information stands about the detained people was installed in the center. The passers-by were invited to get acquainted with the stands and other information materials and offered to write a letter or a postcard for political prisoners.

It should be noted that this is the first event of the global #SaveOlegSentsov campaign within the framework of the Ukrainian tour to 10 cities of Ukraine. Kherson, Kharkiv, Mariupol, Lviv will be the next destinations.
