Ministry of Defence of Ukraine deploys 24/7 Command and Control Post following the decision to impose the Martial Law

Following the decisions of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to impose the Martial Law, Minister of Defence of Ukraine Stepan Poltorak has ordered to deploy the 24/7 Command and Control Post to reinforce military political and administrative control over the Armed Forces of Ukraine, cooperation with other components of security and defence sector, as well as informative support of the senior state and military leadership.

It includes joint centres responsible for:

Regulation of issues related to normative and legal support;

Organization of defensive activities; and

Coordination of efforts related to supply of armament and military equipment, resources, etc. to the Ukrainian army.

The post also includes operative teams from Ministry of Interior, National Guard of Ukraine, Security Service of Ukraine, State Border Service of Ukraine, etc. to share information, provide proposals, take decisions, and inform the state leadership.

The post cooperates with operative teams of the General Staff and other military command authorities.
